Zion Elementary District 6 Excellence Without Exception Recognition

Congratulations Caleb Rodgers for being named East Elementary School's Student of the Month!

Caleb is a wonderful student to have in class. Caleb is always very respectful to both his peers and the staff. He is always the first one to offer help with anything around the classroom. Caleb also offers to help students who may need assistance. It is rare to not see a smile on his face. He is also a dedicated musician, in our District program and on the side he is learning piano.

Caleb Rodgers receives his Student of the Month certificate.

Congratulations Karon Leverette for being named Elmwood Elementary School's Student of the Month!

Karon has been an Elmwood Panther since he was a second grader in Mrs. Rose’s class. He is currently a sixth grader in Ms. Morley’s class. Karon is a student who is very respectful and responsible, two attributes that are much appreciated by his teacher. He always has his work done on time and models great academic classroom habits, exhibiting good listening skills and making contributions to discussions whenever he can. Karon is also a great athlete. He was a member of the 2017-2018 champion teams for football and basketball, and was a member of the 18-19 football team. Karon takes responsibility for his own learning, conducts himself with maturity, and shows respect for teachers and peers, and it is for these reasons that Karon Leverette is Elmwood’s choice for District 6 November Student of the Month.

Karon Leverette receives his Student of the Month certificate.

Congratulations to Nyla Johnson and Genesis Fonseca for being named Lakeview's Students of the Month!

Nyla Johnson represents the qualities of a Wee Bee and strives for excellence at school. She is respectful when speaking to her teachers and classmates, and diligently works to follow the school expectations. She is responsible by taking care of her belongings at arrival and dismissal, and cleaning up when she is finished using toys. She is safe by using materials appropriately and walking in the school. She is kind by helping other students to follow the routines and making sure their needs are met. She is truly a respectful, responsible, safe, and kind Wee Bee!

Genesis Fonseca is a very kind and respectful young lady. She comes to school every day ready to learn. She is always willing to do what we ask of her. Even though she is very shy and quiet, she has made many friends because she is a good friend to others. Every now and again teachers will hear some of the children start to chant - they are chanting "Gen-e-sis, Gen-e-sis, Gen-e-sis!" She has been a wonderful addition to her classroom and school. Nyla Johnson and Genesis Fonseca receive their Student of the Month certificate.
